The Resident Chef - Tomato Basil Soup

A wonderfully rich and creamy instant tomato soup. A little twist on the traditional version, this one can be made easily by adding only water. It's also great mixed with milk for a thicker soup. The only thing that is missing is the grilled cheese sandwich!!

To make soup: Combine 1/3 cup of soup mix with 1 and 1/2 cups water. Use less water for a thicker soup and more for a thinner consistency. Cook until the soup is thickened and veggies are soft and tender, stirring after each minute. 8 servings in each container. Ingredients: Non-fat dry milk powder, non dairy creamer, cornstarch, dehydrated carrots, minced onion, tomato flakes, peas, celery flakes, parsley, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, basil, cumin, salt, black pepper, citric acid, herbs and spices.
